Welcome students! Do you ever think about what makes our state function in an orderly fashion and keeps everyone safe? State laws are made for our protection, and you follow them all the time, whether you realize it or not. Today, you are going to examine different state laws that we have here in Kentucky and explain their purposes. I hope you enjoy
Task
Your task is to find 5 different state laws from Kentucky and tell how they affect our everyday lives and what they do for us.
I will provide links to help you find this information, as well as a rubric to determine whether you have the right amount of information.
This will be collected at the end of the class period! Good luck!
Process
1. Go to the website provided to find a rule that you find interesting.

2. After you find the rule, write it down on a peice of loose leaf and then under it, write how it affects our everyday lives and what they do for us.
3. Go back to the website and look for another rule and do the same thing until you have 5 different rules and how they affect our everyday lives.
