Introduction

What is ASEAN ? Why is ASEAN important? Do you ever known about ASEAN? As you know, Asean is stand for Association of Southeast Asian Nations.It consists of 10 country of member (BruneiDarussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philipines, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand) .Each country has different in many things such as language, dress, custom , religion, population and etc. For instant, Thailand is one of member in ASEAN. Dressing of Thailand is Pha nung like a sampot. It is long rectangular cloth worn around the lower body.Chong kraben is a lower-body,wrap-around cloth.It doesn’t same with pla nung.For religion, the main religion practiced in Thailand is Buddhism. Do you known in another country?

Task

Why you should learn about information of each country? If you go to Malaysia but you can’t speak in English. What happen with you? It will make you serious. It will have many following problems if you don’t know information of each member country. That is the reason why you should learn about this. You are the one who live in ASEAN country, you must know. The important details which you should learn are language (greeting), culture (dressing and eating), and religion and so on. All of detail will be your group work in the final project.

Process

Explanation :

1.Teacher divide students into group of 3-4 person.
2.Each group select one country.
3.Study the following information(language, culture, religion, etc) from the selected country.

4.Present the studied information by using PowerPoint. Moreover you must wear your selected country's national dress and role play greeting language.
