Introduction

- Every country, city, culture, language... has its own characteristics. It has been proved that travelling is the best way of getting knowledge of the culture, the people and the language of the different countries. For this reason, today we are going to start organizing a trip to a city you choose.

Task

- You are going to organize a trip as real as possible and present it with a Google drive presentation which could be included in the digital magazine (B2, B2+ and C1’s project).

Process

Using the internet, plan a five-day trip to a city with your school mates and prepare a presentation about it. You will work in groups, first to make general decisions, then to decide each day’s itinerary. The whole class together with the teacher will decide on a budget, all the groups should keep to that budget.
- In general:
-
Choose the city that you want to visit
-
Decide how to travel to and in the city
-
plane / train / bus ...
-
weekly pass
-
Accommodation (hotel, youth hostel, airb&b..)
-
What will the weather be like?
- For each day decide:
-
What to do in the mornings (sights, museums, prices, timetables, shops)
-
What to do in the afternoon (sights, museums, prices, timetables, shops)
-
What to do in the evening (entertainments of any kind: theatre, cinema (titles of shows)
-
Where to have lunch or what you would like to eat.
