Introduction
Welcome to the world of musical instruments. You will begin your journey with the exploration of the
"Brasswind" family.
Task
You will present to the class your findingings of one particular instrument.
Process
You will create 6-7 slides to present to the class.You will send them to Caldwells@cajonvalley.net [1] by
thursday 1:40pm. We will present to the clas in random order. Please include the follwoing:
1. The name of the instrument with a picture. And some audio clips or imbed a youtube.
2. What type of music does this instrument typically used for? Examples
3. Create a short history include: Origins, how it has evolved to today.
4. What makes this instrument unique.
5. How will it be played? How do you make high and low pitches?
6. Famous people who have played this instrumemt.

Evaluation
You will be graded with the following. Factual and Correct information, presentation to the class, ledgible
slides, and he use of imbeded music.
We as a class will be quized on everyones instrument not just your own so you will need to take note on
thursday.
