Introduction
For some teenagers, budgeting is a must(alright I confess). They need to start saving for their future, like college, and the books for college, and the backpack to carry those books. Budgeting comes down to every little thing you desire to spend money on, and if it's not done right then you become very friendly with the bank representatives and soon find yourself in debt.
Task
You are going to be planning your spending; knowing how much you need to set aside for everything. These things include personal, mortgage, cell phone bill, food, etc..

Process
You are going to start a spreadsheet on Xcel. You are going to have three lists on the spreadsheet which are the following: Income, Fixed Expenses, Variable Expenses. In each list you will have all the necessities to live functionally. In the Income list you are going to start out with your monthly salary (after taxes). Then you will have the total amount of money for the rest of the spreadsheet. Under Fized Expenses you are going to list out each category with the amount of money you desire to spend on it. The categories will be: Housing, groceries, gas for car, health insurance, gas bill, electric bill, internet, cell phone, retirement savings, emergency savings, fun savings, other settings. For variable expenses you are going to have car maintenance/repairs, doctor visits, gifts, entertainment (movies, concerts, etc.), clothing and shoes, miscellaneous. As you are figuring out how much you should spend for each category the total amount should equal to what your income is after taxes.
Evaluation
When you are all done, I will check your excel sheet to make sure that you're spending correctly and wisely and that all your math and numbers are correct.
