Task
Your task will be to research local car dealerships used car inventories to choose a car that will be your very first purchase as an adult!!! When complete, you will have gained the knowledge needed to walk into a car dealership with your own car buying skills to make an educated purchase.
Process
- You will first search local car dealerships to locate your desired vehicle.
Print out the details sheet on the car you choose.
- Once you have decided on a practical car for a teen driver, you will need to research its current value to determine if the asking price is fair.
Print out the kbb value sheet.
- You will then calculate your car payment by muliplying the price of the vehicle by the 15% interest you will be required to pay for the 48 months you will need to finance this vehicle (Minus any downpayment you may make).
Print this calculation out.
- You will then get an insurance quote for this vehicle.
Print out the quote for the insurance company you choose.
- Your final step in the process will be to add the monthly payment to the insurance amount to give you your total your monthly car expenses.
