Introduction

For this webquest we will be focusing on our shapes and colors while using animals. After you have named the color and shape you can then choose the animal that best fits the shape then the colors that you see in the animals. Look at the pictures and pick out the shape then color of atleast three animals.

Task

The objective of this worksheet is to see HOW MANY shapes you can match with the Animals. Once you have done the shapes then switch to the colors that match the Animals and see HOW MANY colors you can match. Try to see if you can get the most out of everyone in the class and compare answers!

Evaluation

The students will be evaluated upon the worksheet, their ability to know the shapes and colors that go with the animal. Teacher is more than willing to help the students with the worksheet and have examples for them on the board that we have already done together as a class. The evaluation is not based upon how many the student gets, it is based upon their knowledge of the shapes and colors that we have studied this year as a class.

Conclusion

The students will have accomplished working on a worksheet that they can use all year long. They will have a wider variety of the shapes and colors along with learning animals for fun. Students will be able to watch the video and then fill out the worksheet with complete confidence in themselves, then for fun be able to share their answers with other students. Students should be able to state the name of the colors and shapes.
