Introduction
Celebrating Brazil

You have heard about Brazil and would like to visit that country. You won a contest that will let you and your family live in Brazil for a year. You need to find out everything you can about Brazil so you can convince your parents that this would be a great thing to do!
Task
To convince your parents that Brazil would be a great place to visit you must find out the following information:
What is the weather like during different times of the year?
What is the country like? Are there big cities, farms, and villages?
What would daily life be like in this country?
What sports do they play in Brazil?
Are there any interesting landmarks?
Do they have any festivals, parades, or events that would be fun to see?
When you have all your information, write your parents a letter telling them why your family should go to Brazil for a year. Maybe you could even learn a few Portuguese words to help you talk to the people of Brazil.
