Introduction

The Classical period occurred when the Baroque era finished, exactly from 1750-1820 and arose quickest throughout Europe. The Classical period was one of the most influential periods on the world, realising some of the best composers as Mozart, Beethoven or Haydn.
Task
Timeline creation
You will complete a timeline in groups of 4 or 5 students. This timeline should indicate the most important characteristics of this period. In this task you have to demonstrate all you have learnt about the Classical period.

Process
For this assignment:
1.Students use reference tools such as computer reference programs to find the information they need to meet specific demands or solve specific problems
2. Students make sense of the variety of materials they read
3. Students use computers and other kinds of technology to collect and organize information and ideas.
4. Students analyze their own and others' artistic products and performances
5. Students appreciate creativity and the values of the arts and the humanities.
6. You can use different colors to highlight the events and dates.
In this task you will complate a timeline that will indicate the following:
First part
Firstly, you will have to remember all the musical periods. You can search information here: http://www.naxos.com/education/brief_history.asp
Then you will have to begin the timeline:
-Label all periods and indicate dates with brackets.
-Place three characteristics instruments of each period.
-Place three important composers of the Classical of each period.
Second part
In this part yo will be centered on the Classical period.
- Include important events of this time.
- Include the names of the most important pieces next to each Classical composer.
- On the back of the timeline list six characteristics of the period.
Third part
When you have completed the timeline you will have to listen and continue the task.
