Introduction
Did you enjoy the descriptive essay of an original Tribute from the book the Hunger Games? Good!!! Now you get a chance to create your very own superhero but this time you will create the visual representation before the written one of your superhero.
Task
Create a visual representation of your original superhero.
Process
Since you and your group memebrs have created a tribute now it is time for you to create a superhero.
Phase 1: Research
The student will research different types of websites to figure out their common attributes. The student will then list all of these attributes for the rest of the group and for the final presentation. The superheroes that they are to research are: Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman and Storm
Phase 2: Decisions
Students will read various comic books online to see all of the elements that their group will need for their individual comic books. Then the students are to search for an online/computer program to compose their group comics. Also this student will also decide on the various characteristics of their superhero such as: the sex of their character, the back story, the other characters in the comic, what attributes the hero has, and the setting.
Phase 3: Villians
Every Superhero has an arch nemesis. This student is to create the superheroes nemesis. This student will research various villains from Marvel and DC comics. They will work closely with the student that is doing Job 2. The student will choose three villains to research out of these lists.
Phase 4: Visual
Students will access a superhero website to create what their superhero and villain will look like. The student that does Job 4 will have to gather the information from the other three group members to compose what their characters will look like.
Conclusion
Did you make him/her? What are there weaknesses and strengths? Who is the villian? What about their weakness and strengths? If you did then good job and I can't wait to see your visual image of your SUPERHERO!!
