Creating Paper Bag Puppets!

Introduction

Task

You will make and Use your very own puppet!

Process

Materials

  • A brown paper bag of any size.
  • Newspaper or shredded paper to stuff inside.
  • String to tie round the puppet’s “neck” to keep the newspaper in.
  • “Hair” like shredded paper, cushion stuffing etc
  • Fabric to attached round the head and tie under the chin.
  • Coloured pens to draw the face.
  • A bottle of water to stand your puppet on when it is not on someone’s hand.

 

Method:

  1. Draw the desired character face on the paperbag
  2. Stuff with stuffing.
  3. Tie the neck to prevent stuffing ftom falling out
  4. Attach hai by glueing
  5. Attach fabric around head and tie under the chin
  6. Display puppet
