Introduction
You will be using your skills to measure and find objects in your house.
Task
You will need to use your ruler to measure a variety of objects and convert to feet and yards.
You will also go on a scavener hunt to find objects in your house that show capacity and weight.
Process
Use your ruler to measure:
1. Length of kitchen table. Record in inches and feet.
2. Height of refrigerator. Record in inches and feet.
3. Find an example of an item in your house that has the capacity of a pint.
4. Find an example of an item in your house that has the capacity of a quart.
5. Find an example of an item in your house that weighs about an ounce.
6. Find an example of an item in your house that would be weighed in pounds.
Record your answers on the table that I have shared with you via the Drive.
Don't forget to include the unit of measurement for #1 and #2.
