Introduction
In our 3-D curriculum, we're closing Issue 7: Voting and Citizenship. In conjunction with this issue, we viewed the film Walkout, which detailed the 1968 East Los Angeles walkouts as planned by Chicano students from various high schools. They wanted a better education and social change for themselves and their community.To better understand the climate of the 60s and the individuals and institutions pivotal in these walkouts, you'll need to do some research.
Task
Your task is to read and gather notes on the individuals and institutions essential in the 1968 walkouts. After completing the question guide, you'll write an argumentative essay in response to the evaluation question.
