History of Baseball

Welcome to your 5th grade history of baseball WebQuest!

Together we will learn when and how baseball was developed.  We will also learn about some inspiring baseball players.  

You will explore websites, create at least one entry for our timeline and learn at least one forerunner of baseball to teach your classmates.

Your task is to:

1) Create at least one entry about the history of baseball for our class timeline.  This entry should include:

• a date
• the name of at least one person
• a description of the person or event (at least 2 sentences)
• a discussion of the importance of the person or event (at least 2 sentences)

this will be on display all year, please be sure your work is neat and uses conventional spelling and grammar

2) Learn about at least one game that was a forerunner of baseball.  You will have an opportunity to teach this game to your classmates
