How do we breathe?

Introduction

The lungs are part of the respiratory system and without them we would not be standing here today.

We pretty much don’t take any notice of our lungs. We breathe in and out every day and just assume that they will work. The only time that we really notice them is when we get a cold or the flu and it becomes difficult to breathe or when we exercise a lot and start to breathe heavier.

You will be creating an information leaflet that could be given out in hospitals to teach people about the lungs and how they can have diseases, therefore how to treat and look after their lungs.
