Introduction
Welcome to Mr. Jackson's seventh grade cell class. In this class, students will will work with virtual reality. Nothing you study can be seen without the aid of a microscope, which each of you will receive each day until this unit is completed.
Process
Students are required to collect water from the local stream in a vial provided by the teacher. The water from the stream will then be used to prepare a slide for observation using the microscope.
Evaluation
Students will be graded on how well they can prepare their slides using the required solutions, color images produced from observations, and descriptions made.
Conclusion
When completed, students should have a prepared slide, a colored diagram of the cell, and a page with descriptions of everything observed on the slide.
