Just Who is J. Patrick Lewis anyway?

Introduction

Some authors write books about mysteries, some write scary books and some authors write only about history.  We want to introduce an author who writes children's books and poetry.  We have read the introduction but we decided want you to discover the information yourselves.  We already know how great he is, and together in pairs, you will perform this WebQuest so that you can too!  Let's start the journey into the life and career of J. Patrick Lewis.

Task

Work with your partner to complete this task.  You will use the computer to look up the information and research the sites for the answers to the questions below.  Write down the answers to the questions below.  ONLY use the sites we have provided.  You will have 30 minutes to complete this task.  If you find extra information that is interesting, make sure note it on your papers to discuss.

Process
Evaluation

We will discuss the information we have found together as a class and the paper with your answers will be turned in for credit with both partners' names on it.

Conclusion

We will have a special assignment for the conclusion of this author study.
