Introduction
The boys are given an island that is equipped with everything they need to survive. There are no adults on the island supervising them, so they are also given the opportunity to do whatever they want. The boys decide to vote in a leader and to establish some rules until they are rescued. This is the beginning of their society on the island and the beginning of civilization on the island. This Webquest will help you explore their choices and responsibilities towards the order they have created, towards each other, and whether they have given into the impulse of uncivilized savagery or have been able to maintain a civilized society.
