Introduction
Marriage in the Victorian Era was nothign like today's marriages or enagegements. In the Victorian Era the men had to be approved and almost all of a wealthy status. To Marry a class below yours was social unacceptable. There were plenty of rules and rituals you had to follow in order to be sucessfully engaged. There was no moving past second base because if the engage was to be broken off then you shamed the girl and it would be hard for her to find a suitor. Many rules like this existed so as a warm up list five rules that are not found today about marriage.
