This webquest explores plastic surgery’s effects on social norms.  You are expected to see various images, articles  and websites on the topic and you will be asked to synthesize the topic by taking ideal female body into consideration. We invite you to explore the topic and provide your ideas on the subject.’’

Task

       You are expected to write an essay on the relationship between plastic surgery and its effect on social norms. 

Process

     Step 1; Please see the images given and describe each image based on what they inspired to you.

             

     Please, find a picture that describes the body image in society according to you  and add it to your essay. 

   

Step 2;  What does ' perfect body  image ' mean to you?

                  Do you think society has a pressure on people to improve their image ?

                  What does ' distorted image' mean? And, does plastic surgery help to improve abetter  psychology and self-esteem?
