Introduction
Jason is a baseball player and needs your help. He needs a new glove because he lost his old one. When he asked his parents if they could get him a Wilspn's youth baseball glove, they said that they could not afford it at the moment. The season begins next week and his parents do not get paid for another three weeks. In groups of two, help Jason by finding the original price of the glove so he can tell his parents what the regular price of the glove is so they can decide whether it would be worth t to have Jason wait three weeks for his glove.
Task
You will have two tasks:
1) Discover the original price.
a. Find the Percent discount.
b. Find the sale price.
c. Use the information above to figure out the regular price.
2) Creat a poster
a. Show the steps you did.
b. Make the answer easy to see.
c. Be creative.
Process
1) Go to http://www.dunhamssports.com/products/wilson-a450-baseball-gloves/.
2) Provide the percent discount and sales price.
3) Write an equation using the example, "sales price equals the original price times the percent discount" (The percent discount will be in decimal form).
4) Divide both sides of the equation by the percent discount.
5) That is your original price.
6) Create a poster that describes how you got the price of the glove.
