Introduction
Welcome to the Probability Webquest!
This is due tomorrow, at the beginning of class for a quiz grade!
Task
You are going to the Texas State Fair and would like to play some carnival games with the hopes of winning a prize. Your Mom said you are allowed to play one game only. Your task is to analyze four carnival games and predict the probability of winning each game. You will write a review of each of the four games explaining your probability findings and identifying the game with the highest probability of winning. You will then defend your game selection in a classroom debate. The basis of your debate stance should be a combination of evidence from your findings as well as external factors that may influence the probability of winning.
Process
Use the Carnival Games link to complete the investigation sheet. The rubric can be found on the Evaluation Page. You will complete all aspects of this webquest, EXCEPT for the DEBATE part. All other pieces will be graded, and need to be turned in by the beginning of class tomorrow.
