Self-regulated Learning

Introduction

You will learn about self-regulation, it's underlying neural mechanisms, and how self-regulatoin relates to both motivation (SDT) and adaptive behavioral responses in support of metacognitive strategies how these strategies can be applied to online learning contexts. By the end of this course, you will be able to define self-regulation, identify the underlying neuroanatomical sturcutres that support metacognition, as well as, describe and self-regulation realtes to SDT and behaviorism, as well as, identifiy strategies to improve self-regualted learning both personally and for other learners. IN teh end, you will complete a survey to guage your own level of self-regulation and motivation in order to learn ways that you can increase your own performance.
