Introduction
What is a fable?
A fable is a type of story that is used teach a lesson about something. It can be passed down orally from generation to generation. The most significant aspect of fables is that fables are about animals that can talk and act like people, plants that can move around, or natural forces that act on their own account. Fables use personification to give human characerstics to nohuman objects.


Task
You are going to become a writer and an illustrator!
Your task is to look online and find three fables that interest you. Pay attention to the characters, the moral of the story and the illustrations used to describe what is happening in the story.
After you have found your three fables and taken notes on it, you are to create your own fable!
You will create your story on microsoft word, but you will hand draw your illustration.
Have fun searching for fables!

- What is the moral of the fable?
- Who are the characters?

2.) Create your own fable on microsoft word.
- Be creative!
- Use entertaining font.
- Give your fable a title.

3.) As a class, we will combine everyones fable together and form our own fable book to keep in the classroom!

What a wonderful job you have done with your fable! And as a class, we have created a collection of our very own fables that we can read together!
