You will learn about the South West Region of the United States!
Tools:
You need a pencil, paper, and clipboard.
- Fold your paper in half and number it 1-4 (on the top). Leave the bottom half blank for now.

Task
Follow the steps in order.
1. Explore the southwest region and the map by clicking on this link: http://www.learner.org/interactives/historymap/fifty2.html
On number one on your paper, write about the most interesting thing you learned.
2. Then, click on the links to the four different states in the South West Region. For each state, write the most interesting thing you learned.
3. On the bottom half of your page draw the South West region. Make sure to label each state and include illustrations of something unique to each state such as the state bird, flag, or flower.
