Introduction
Hello everyone! My name is Lucy Goosie (but you can call me Lucy!) I need your help! I love to travel, and I am very lucky because that is my job! On my last job, I got lost and don't know where I'm at! I need your help to find out where I am and bring me back home!
My last job included 3 stops. I don't really remember the names so I will just describe to you what I saw around me!
Stop 1: It was very warm, and the beach was close. For supper one night, we had tacos and chips and salsa. The flag was three colors: red, white, and green. People were playing guitars and maracas on the street where there was a festival with lots of lights.
Stop 2: There was a very tall, pointy building in this very busy city. Lots of people come to this city to shop and for the famous food. For lunch, we ate crossiants and very fancy cheese. The people here talk in funny accents.
Stop 3: The last stop I remember was very warm. It was all surrounded by water. There was a big famous Opera House where I heard beautiful singing. I also got to meet new friends by the name of kangaroo and koala. In the ocean there was a big coral reef where tons of fish swam.
My last stop was to a place where there were lots and lots of people everywhere. The girls wore long dresses with colorful flowers on them. They also painted their faces white and performed a dance for us. For supper, we sat around a table on the floor. We ate rice and dumplings and raw fish with two sticks(which was really hard). We also took our shoes off before we went inside the house.

1. Figure out what countries Lucy has visited according to the clues.
A. Research each country. Find the capital and draw the flag and color correctly.
B. Figure out what country Lucy is lost in.
2. Present your discoveries.
A. Write down the reasons for why you chose that country.
B. Talk about this with your team.
3. Tell the class.
A. Present to the class your drawings of flags and where you think Lucy is.
B. Write a few paragraphs and tell me what you would have saw if you visited each country.

Step 2: Use the websites given and read about each country where Lucy could have stopped. {Located in the "Credits" section}
Step 3: After reading the clues Lucy gave you, find 3 new facts about each country that have not been shared before.
Step 4: Make a final decision on what country Lucy is stuck in.
Step 5:Write a summary telling about your findings.
a. Include what country Lucy is in.
b. Give reasons for why you chose this country.
c. Using a classroom map or globe, locate the country.
Step 6: Present your findings to the class with your team members.
Step 7: Have each team member select one of the countries Lucy visited and write a summary on the country you chose.

Your team will be graded on a 1 - 5 scale.
1 = Poor
2 = Okay
3 = Good
4 = Great
5 = Amazing

Congradulations! You have successfully discovered what country Lucy Goosie is stuck on! Thanks for helping bring her back home to Columbia, Kentucky. With your help Lucy found the others on her trip, and she followed them back home. Hopefully you have learned about some other countries in this great big world we live in!
