who is a farmer

A farmer is someone who works under the umbrella of agriculture, producing a variety of food products for human and animal consumption. There are several kinds of farmers ranging from farmers who raise animals to farmers who grow crops.

Students will be given a book entitled " Old Mass Sammy" students will be asked to tell who is a farmer

students will draw picture of a farmer

student will write what a farmer plants on his farm

students will go into group and role play then self as a farmer

students will know that a farmer can be male or female .

Some farmers raise animals like cows, chickens and fish. Other farmers raise plants like fruits, vegetables and grains. There are even farmers who grow plants for people to enjoy in their gardens! Farmers make a living by selling their plants, animals and animal products.

Being a farmer is hard work! Farmers care for their animals by giving them food and water. They plant and harvest  crops. They make sure their plants and animals stay healthy. They also take care of the machines that help them farm, like tractor and plows.

students wil go in groups and go in groups and fill in a collage of a female farmer

students will be asked to write a short story about a farm

students will be given question about the story "Old Mass Sammy"

Dear student,

Today we have discovered who is a farmer, what a farm do we learn that there are male and female farms. Student today we also read  book call"Old mass Sammy " and we learnt that old mass sammy  had a farm we also learnt that mass sammy sold his produce to Mr Baker . So student we have learnt alot about a farmer and what is on his farm thank you for your hardwork .

as a teacher it was fun creating this webquest because i think i got a understanding of how to create my own webquest . creating this web quest i gained experience and i know that the other one that i will create will  be much easier for me to do.
