Introduction
Nowadays not many young people like reading. Many of them don't know the most famous poets and writers even of their own country. It's a big problem for new generation. Of course not all of young people don't read books any more but unfortunately the biggest part of them. It's really important for future generations to know the history of literature at least of their own country, to know at least the most recognizable writers and their works. Somebody can say that nowadays we have TV and there are a lot of movies which are based on books, but it is not enough just to know the plot of the book. Reading really develops imagination, makes the speech better and makes people more intelligent.
Task
- to make an internet research about the most famous writers of your country and their works
- to find images of them
- to look for and discuss with classmates what they think about the problem of reading
- to organize a meeting with classmates who writes anything themselves or just like to read or want to start reading and discuss the most interesting in their opinion books
- to do some extra activities about "Problem of reading"
Illustrate the results of your work by examples and create a Power Point Presentation (or a poster with your photos)
