Year 3 Healthy Living

Introduction

Tell the learners:

“Today, you are going to become Healthy Living Detectives! Your mission is to explore different information and discover what we need to do to keep our bodies healthy and strong.”

Ask a warm-up question: “What do you do every day to keep yourself healthy?”

Put learners into small groups. Each group investigates one area of healthy living:

Group Mission

Group 1 Healthy Food 🍌🥕

Group 2 Personal Hygiene 🧼🪥

Group 3 Exercise 🏃

Each group needs to find three important facts about its topic.

-Use teacher-selected websites, pictures, short videos, or digital resources.

-Look for information about their assigned healthy-living habit.

-Discuss what they discover.

-Write down three ways their habit helps people stay healthy.

-Create a small Healthy Living poster with words and drawings.

Present the poster to the class.
