photosynthesis

Introduction

photosynthesis converts light energy into the cemicalenergy of sugars and other organic compounds. this processconsists of a series of chemical reactions that require carbon deoxide(CO2) and water (H2O) and store chemical energy in the form of sugar. light energy from light drives the reactions. oxygen (O2) is a byproduct of photosynthesis and is released into the atmosphere.

Task

your task is to create a powerpoint presentation about photosynthesis

Process

the powerpoint presentation should include the following:

  • slide 1: title page
  • slide 2: photosynthesis definition
  • slide 3: diagram of photosynthesis
  • slide4: importance of photosynthesis
Evaluation

Question: How will i be graded on my powerpoint presentation? Answer: i will use the following grade rubric.

  • creativity 25%
  • organization 25%
  • spelling grammar 25%
  • overall presentation 25%
Conclusion

why is photosynthesis so important?

first of all, without plants the entire food chainor more accuratley the food web would lose its foundation. all animals (including us humans) ultimately depend on plant material either directly, or indirectly through there herbavore prey. think of that next timeyou sprinkle a teaspoon of sugar, or drink a glass of milk, or eat a chicken sandwhich. all require one type of plant or another! on top of that, all animals require the oxygen released by plants. without continual photosynthesis, the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere would slowly diminish.
