Introduction

The purpose of this WebQuest is to satisfy the State Standards of Learning, thereby creating and developing a transitional plan for 12th grade students.  This transitional plan will allow students to create and develop their own plan for being productive citizen in society.  Note: Student should be encouraged to see the “Big Picture,” about critical decision making for their futures.

Task

After completing the SOL Objective Tasks 12:1

  • Student learn to create and develop a effective Power Point Presention:
  • d)  Students will understand the many uses of media, visual literacy and technology, as well as acquire the skills to create and develop an effective presentation that depicts the quality of life that they desire. This presentation will allow students the opportunity to think critically about their futures; thereby motivating them to develop realistic goals for their lives.
  • g,i) By critiquing the effectiveness of their peers presentations; students will gain diverse knowledge about other proposed plans; thereby, gaining personal views and using digital, visual, textual, and technological support to enhance the quality of the presentation.

    Conclusion

    Transitional Planning: The Conclusion exhibits a representation of Post Secondary Educational Planning and Transitional Goals of Exceptional Education Students. This presentation can be modified to adapt to each students needs. This real life planning and simulation assist in the students obtaining their optimal level of functionity.
